Built by a school-based OT

Your caseload, finally under control.

ThynkOT is a simple app that keeps every IEP deadline, every session, and every note in one calm place — right on your phone. No spreadsheets, no sticky notes, no 2 a.m. “did I miss something?”

Launching for the 2026–27 school year.

Sound familiar?

School OTs carry the whole caseload in their head.

“Am I missing a deadline?”

Annuals, triennials, assessment plans — every student has a clock running, and the calendar math (school days, breaks, exceptions) is genuinely confusing. The anxiety never fully goes away.

“What does my day even look like?”

Multiple sites, pull-out and push-in sessions, groups, meetings, and a schedule that breaks the moment one kid is absent. Rebuilding it eats your prep time.

“It’s Sunday night and reports are due.”

Progress reporting means digging back through months of scribbled notes, trying to remember who worked on what — for every student, every reporting period.

Meet ThynkOT

One calm app that does the remembering for you.

Every deadline, computed for you.

Give ThynkOT the starting date — a referral, a signed assessment plan, last year’s IEP — and it does the legal calendar math: counting actual school days, skipping breaks, handling end-of-year rules. Your queue always shows what’s due next, in order.

  • Annuals, triennials, assessment plans, and more
  • Knows your district calendar — breaks don’t count against you
  • Color-coded: comfortable, coming up, or needs you now

Your day builds itself.

Set your weekly rhythm once. Every morning, your day sheet is ready: who, when, where. Tap once when you’ve seen a student, once when they’re absent — and ThynkOT tracks the make-up minutes and suggests exactly where they fit.

  • One-tap “Seen” and “Missed” — logging takes seconds
  • Make-ups suggested in plain English, with the why
  • Groups, multiple sites, and blocked time all handled

Never wonder “what should we work on?”

ThynkOT comes loaded with 300 ready-made therapy activities — 10 to 15 for every specific skill in your goal bank, each with an easier and a harder version. Pick one, and it instantly shows which kids in your group it covers and at what level each one needs it. Group planning in one look.

  • 300 school-feasible activities, low-prep staples first
  • Pin your favorites; tap “Suggest 3 more” for fresh ideas
  • Add your own — your library grows with you

Notes only you can read — written your way.

Write in SOAP, DAP, or plain narrative — or just talk: dictate the session out loud and ThynkOT sorts your words into the right boxes. If a real name slips in, it catches it and swaps in a placeholder with one tap. Then everything is locked with your password before it ever leaves your phone — not us, not a district IT department, not anyone else can read it.

  • SOAP, DAP, or narrative — your format, real labeled boxes
  • Speak it: dictation sorts itself into your note, right on the device
  • Catches accidental student names before they’re saved
  • Notes encrypted with a key only you hold

Report day, already half-written.

Because you tapped “Seen” all along, ThynkOT already knows the attendance, the minutes, and which goals you worked on. Come reporting time, it drafts the factual half — you add the clinical judgment.

  • Attendance and minutes, counted automatically
  • Per-goal session counts, ready to paste
  • A goal bank of ready-made, measurable goal templates
Private first

Built like it’s holding your caseload. Because it is.

ThynkOT was designed from day one around a simple idea: the app should know as little as possible about your students.

No names, ever

Students live in the app as initials or codes you choose. There is no field for a student’s name — on purpose.

Notes are encrypted

Your session notes are scrambled with your password before they’re saved. We couldn’t read them if we wanted to.

Yours, on every device

Sign in on your phone, tablet, or laptop and everything is there — always in sync, always yours.

🧠

Made by a school OT, not a software company.

ThynkOT was built by a practicing school-based occupational therapist who was tired of holding an entire caseload together with spreadsheets, sticky notes, and memory — and tired of tools clearly designed by people who’ve never sat in an IEP meeting.

Every screen exists because a real OT needed it on a real school day. If it didn’t make the job calmer, it didn’t make it in.

Questions?

Straight answers.

The stuff school OTs actually ask before trying something new.

What does it cost?
Early access is free — you get in, and you help shape what gets built. Pricing for later isn’t set yet, and anyone in the early group hears it from us first. No surprises.
When can I actually start using it?
ThynkOT opens to a small early-access group for the 2026–27 school year — it isn’t publicly available yet. Add your name below and you’ll be among the first in when the doors open. That’s the only step.
Does it work outside California?
Yes — the schedule, session logging, private notes, goal bank, and progress-report drafts work anywhere. The one piece built on California rules first is the automatic legal-deadline math; other states are on the roadmap.
Does it connect to my district’s system, like SEIS?
No — and that’s on purpose. ThynkOT is a standalone tool you run alongside your district’s system. No student data flows between them, which is exactly how it stays private: real student names never enter ThynkOT at all. You keep the code-to-name key wherever your district already stores student info.
Can my district or admin see my notes?
No. ThynkOT runs on your own login, separate from any district system, and your session notes are encrypted so only you can read them — not your district, not us, not anyone.
Where do the activity ideas come from?
ThynkOT ships with a built-in library of 300 school-feasible therapy activities, organized by the same specific skills as your goals — each with an easier and a harder version. Low-prep staples show first, you can pin the ones you love, and you can add your own as you find what works. It suggests; you decide.
Do I have to download it from the App Store?
Nope. It runs right in your browser and installs to your home screen like a real app — iPhone, Android, or laptop — with no App Store download. Everything syncs across your devices automatically.
Is my students’ information safe?
Privacy is the foundation, not an add-on. There are no student names anywhere in the app (you use codes you choose), session notes are encrypted so only you can read them, and your data is never sold or shared. We built it to hold as little about your students as possible.
